GrillTask

Founder, built alone · 2026

An app for handing out tasks between family, friends, or housemates. The person doing the task uploads a photo as proof, and once it is approved they earn points toward a reward agreed in advance. I built the mobile and web apps, the backend, and the Stripe billing, and I set the prices.

A nonprofit, founded by Rhea Jain, that teaches women in rural India and the Philippines how to budget, save, open bank accounts, and use microloans. I built and run its website, volunteer sign-up, and the surveys that measure what each workshop changed. That data went into the grant application we won.

StrikeMC

Founder · 2022

A competitive Minecraft PvP server I launched at thirteen. I wrote the game code in Java, set up and run the Linux servers, and hired and managed the staff. A store selling ranks and cosmetics pays for the hosting. After a run of outages took it down, I rebuilt it from scratch.

I am in my final year of the IB Diploma in Singapore, studying computer science and business. I grew up speaking English and French and I am learning Spanish.

I started programming at twelve. StrikeMC came a year later, and it is where I learned Java, Linux, and how to run a team when most of the team is older than you. It also taught me how to deal with things breaking in public.

At ARISE I am not the founder. I joined to build the technology, and I manage the tech and social media volunteers. The work I care most about there is measurement: working out what changed for the women in each programme, and putting it in a form a funder can check.

GrillTask is the first product I have taken from an empty folder to paying customers on my own. Choosing what goes in the free plan and what you pay for was harder than any of the code.

I write most of my code with AI tools, mainly Claude Code, and I review everything before it ships.
